| A pioneer in the aging aircraft industry, Aging Aircraft Consulting, LLC (AACL) supportability personnel use a variety of methods to conduct detailed analysis and provide solutions impacting multiple weapon systems throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). Comprised predominantly of retired and former DoD personnel, the supportability analysis team has over 100 years of combined expertise in Integrated Logistics and Supply Chain management. This knowledge provides the foundation for AACL to conduct in-depth analytical research in resolving obsolete and hard to acquire parts used by DoD agencies. |
| The vision of the supportability analysis team is to utilize our access to multiple web-based and legacy systems such as Jedmics, D200, FEDLOG, HAYSTACK, ESS, ILS, and ASSET AVAILABILITY to streamline and refine the process of researching parts and identifying material issues for weapons systems maintained by Robins ALC, Ogden ALC and numerous other depot and field locations throughout the DoD. |
| Utilizing this technical data knowledge, the supportability team focuses on the issue of parts predictability, compiling trend analysis to develop supportability strategies to prevent items from becoming critical. Developed by AACL, SORT (Supportability Optimization and Research Tool) and SLUPI (Strategic Low Use Parts Initiative) are unique web based programs that support our goals and utilize data from these different systems to identify parts which because of usage, non-availability, obsolescence, and discontinued manufactures have the potential to become bigger issues to a particular weapons system.

| AACL’s supportability element also provides initiatives pertaining to parts storage and protection such as our Mobile Logistic Storage Containers also known as FOM (Facilitate Other Maintenance) containers. Originally developed for the Air Force, they protect and secure property from the elements when removed from the aircraft while performing maintenance actions, FOM containers are multi-faceted units which can serve a variety of uses, such as temporary or permanent office space, maintenance work platforms, property storage and even temporary living quarters. Always striving to provide the utmost in customer satisfaction, the goal of AACL’s supportability element is to put their customer first in whatever initiative they pursue. |
